People Are Dying. And Still Nothing Changes.

1–2 minutes

Lately, I’ve been coming across more and more posts from people who are struggling.
I see people who are desperate. People who are actively trying to seek help and support.

But as we all know far too well, the support they need just isn’t there.

This isn’t news to me.
I have been where they are.
In many ways, I’m still not very far from there.

I have been turned away in the past because my attempts on my own life “weren’t bad enough.”
And now, I don’t even bother seeking medical help when I’m in that place — because it honestly makes no difference.

Saying that out loud is quietly devastating.

Even more devastating is knowing this is happening to people up and down the country.
People aren’t even being given basic care.
People are being put on waiting lists when the harsh reality is that many of them won’t survive long enough to reach the top.

This is not just broken.
This is dangerous.
This is unjust.

Someone, somewhere, has blood on their hands — and they don’t even know it.
There is no accountability.
No responsibility.

People are literally dying, and still nothing changes.

I want that to change.
I want to be the change.
I want to help the people who need it and who deserve it.

You can help too.
